Alabama High School Basketball - White Plains holds off Cleburne County

The White Plains Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Cleburne County Tigers to 48 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Jacksonville for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. White Plains will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 92-19 league win over St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Cleburne County falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Randolph County (Wedowee, AL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-4.
