The East Bernard Brahmas basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Wharton Tigers to 33 in the Brahmas non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Brahmas now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rice Consolidated for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. East Bernard will confront a Raiders team coming off a 61-28 non-league loss to Weimar (Weimar, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Wharton falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Tidehaven (El Maton, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 12-0. Tidehaven won 50-19 in their recent non-league game against Columbia (West Columbia, TX)
