The Mitchell Mountaineers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Enka Jets to 52 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Cloudland for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5.

With the loss, Enka falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Mountaineers go into the game with a record of 1-1. Tuscola won 46-35 in their recent non-league game against Madison (Marshall, NC)
