Minnesota High School Basketball - Northfield thwarts Faribault

December 3, 2024: Northfield, MN 55057

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northfield Raiders (Northfield, MN) and the visiting Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN), observed Northfield's basketball team knock off Faribault by a score of 71-51.

The Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Cougars come into the AAA Section 2 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Mankato East was knocked off by Austin (Austin, MN), 69-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Faribault will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Scarlets come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 59-48 non-league win over Owatonna (Owatonna, MN).
