North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans overwhelms Holmes

December 3, 2024: Hertford, NC 27944

The Perquimans Pirates basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Holmes Aces to 24 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Camden County for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Perquimans will confront a Bruins team coming off a 26-22 non-league loss to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Holmes falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Aces host Martin County (Williamston, NC) to confront the Gators in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. The Gators go into the game with a record of 1-0. Martin County won 41-39 in their recent non-league game against Southside (Chocowinity, NC)
