The Indio High girls’ basketball team began their game with only six players, facing a tough start in the 1st quarter. Turnovers and missed opportunities plagued the team early on, allowing their opponent, Rancho Mirage, to take a 10-point lead by the end of the quarter. Despite the deficit, the Rajahs showed resilience and determination to turn things around.
Second Quarter
In the 2nd quarter, the team made key adjustments and began working more cohesively. Their defensive efforts paid off, as they held Rancho Mirage to only 6 points during this period. Aleida and Arissa led the charge, with Aleida contributing steals and 5 points, while Arissa’s defense energy helped set the team's tone.
