In Tuesday's league contest, the host Janesville Craig Cougars basketball team scored a big 59-37 triumph over the Middleton Cardinals.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sun Prairie West (Sun Prairie, WI). The Wolves go into the Big Eight contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Sun Prairie West was trounced by Verona (Verona, WI), 61-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Madison West Regents (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight contest, on Friday, December 6. Middleton will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Regents go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 86-24 league loss to Madison East (Madison, WI).
