In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Red Wing Wingers basketball team scored a close 56-52 triumph over the John Marshall Rockets.

The Wingers (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN). The Tigers go into the AA Section 1 contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Albert Lea was nudged by Worthington (Worthington, MN), 66-53, in a non-league battle.

The Rockets now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Austin for a non-league battle on Friday, December 6. John Marshall will meet a Packers squad coming off a 61-51 league win over Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Packers record now stands at 2-0.
