With the victory, Pine Grove advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Byers (Holly Springs, MS) to face the Lions in a 1A Region 2 match on Friday, December 6. The Lions enter the match with a record of 1-7. Byers lost 51-37 in their recent league match against Falkner (Falkner, MS)

The Cardinals now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Myrtle for a 1A Region 2 bout on Friday, December 6. Jumpertown will play a Hawks team coming off a 47-37 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 3-6.
