The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lavaca Golden Arrows (Lavaca, AR) and the visiting Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR), observed Lavaca's basketball team overwhelm Westside by a score of 51-18.

The Golden Arrows (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Charleston (Charleston, AR). The Tigers come into the 3A Region 4 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Charleston trounced Hackett (Hackett, AR), 50-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Westside will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Sand Lizards come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 57-38 non-league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR).
