In Tuesday's league contest, the host Luxemburg-Casco Spartans basketball team scored a close 43-36 triumph over the Marinette Marines.

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oconto Falls (Oconto Falls, WI). The Panthers go into the North Eastern contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Oconto Falls was tipped by Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton, WI), 51-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Marines battle the Wrightstown Tigers (Wrightstown, WI) in a North Eastern battle, on Friday, December 6. Marinette will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 79-46 league win over Waupaca (Waupaca, WI).
