The Pope Greyhounds basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Riverwood Raiders to 19 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lassiter for a AAAAA Region 6 game on Friday, December 6. Pope will confront a Trojans team coming off a 50-47 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Riverwood falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to confront the Chiefs in a AAAAA Region 6 game on Friday, December 6. The Chiefs go into the game with a record of 3-4. Sequoyah lost 42-32 in their recent league game against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA)
