The West Side Eagles defeated the host Rural Special Rebels basketball squad by a final score of 69-50 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Calico Rock Pirates (Calico Rock, AR) in a 1A Region 2 outing, on Friday, December 6. West Side will attempt to upgrade on its 14-0 season record. The Pirates come into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 49-34 non-league win over Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR).

The Rebels (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Viola (Viola, AR). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region 2 outing with a 6-5 record.
