In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Turner Ashby Knights basketball team scored a good 24-14 triumph over the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Fort Defiance was topped by Broadway (Broadway, VA), 33-18, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Green Hornets confront the Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6.
