The Strayhorn Mustangs soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Byhalia Indians to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Coahoma County for a Class 1 Region 2 bout on Thursday, December 5.
With the loss, Byhalia moves to 0-3 on the year. The Indians travel to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to play the Cougars in a 4A Region 2 bout on Friday, December 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
