Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), 54-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Bishop Manogue advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Miners travel to North Valleys (Reno, NV) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas for a match on Tuesday, December 10. Reed will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 64-31 non-league win over Wooster (Reno, NV). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
