In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Croatan Cougars basketball team scored a big 75-15 triumph over the East Carteret Mariners.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.
In their next game, the Mariners battle the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. East Carteret will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 35-31 non-league win over Kinston (Kinston, NC).
