East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), 1-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, East Central advances its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Stone (Wiggins, MS) to clash with the Tomcats in a 5A Region 4 test on Friday, December 6. The Tomcats come into the test with a record of 5-4. Stone won 1-0 in their recent league test against Vancleave (Vancleave, MS)

The War Eagles now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loyd Star for a non-league test on Thursday, December 5. Wayne County will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 8-0 league win over West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 6-1.
