The Midland Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Strom Thurmond Rebels to 18 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Batesburg-Leesville for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. Midland Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 84-74 non-league loss to Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Strom Thurmond falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host South Aiken (Aiken, SC) to confront the Thoroughbreds in a non-league game on Friday, December 5. The Thoroughbreds go into the game with a record of 3-2. South Aiken won 69-64 in their recent non-league game against Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC)
