The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI) and the host University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs (Detroit, MI), witnessed De La Salle Collegiate's ice hockey team nip University of Detroit Jesuit by a final score of 4-3.

The Pilots (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Cranes come into the Michigan Interscholastic battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Cranbrook Kingswood was nudged by St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Cubs now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Adams for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 12. University of Detroit Jesuit will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-1.
