The Springstead Eagles basketball team (Spring Hill, FL), was trounced 63-38 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL)

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL). The Ascenders come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, IMG Academy smashed Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate (Tampa, FL), 57-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Fivay Falcons (Hudson, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Springstead will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
