Alabama High School Basketball - Paul W. Bryant can't hold off Oak Mountain

The Oak Mountain Eagles basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Paul W. Bryant Stampede to 29 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 4. Oak Mountain will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 58-44 non-league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-9.
The Stampede (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brookwood (Brookwood, AL). The Panthers enter the 6A Area 7 contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Brookwood was nudged by Pelham (Pelham, AL), 60-36, in a non-league match.
