The Montini Catholic Broncos basketball team (Lombard, IL), dropped 61-43 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL)
The Lions now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Park-River Forest for a West Suburban - Silver battle on Friday, January 7. Lyons will battle a Huskies team coming off a 48-34 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 2-8.
The Broncos (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners come into the non-league battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Nazareth Academy prevailed over Huntley (Huntley, IL), 45-27, in a non-league battle.
