The Biggersville Lions basketball team (Corinth, MS), was overwhelmed 60-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Booneville Blue Devils (Booneville, MS)
The Blue Devils now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southaven for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 4. Booneville will confront a Chargers team coming off a 68-58 non-league loss to North Panola (Sardis, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 9-5.
The Lions (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Eagles come into the 1A Region 1 battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Falkner trounced Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY), 73-70, in a non-league battle.
