Texas High School Basketball - Cuero nips Fox Tech

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cuero Gobblers (Cuero, TX) and the visiting Fox Tech Buffaloes (San Antonio, TX), saw Cuero's basketball squad hold off Fox Tech by a tally of 54-49.

With the victory, Cuero improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Gobblers host La Grange (La Grange, TX) to play the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 31. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. La Grange lost 59-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Young Men's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Fox Tech will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 64-52 league win over John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX).
