Texas High School Basketball - Guyer knocked off by McKinney

The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Guyer Wildcats to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allen for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 3. McKinney will meet a Eagles team coming off a 81-68 non-league loss to Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 17-6.
The Wildcats (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Braswell ran past Emerson (McKinney, TX), 64-47, in a non-league contest.
