With the victory, Houston County improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Telfair County (McRae, GA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Telfair County won 80-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Perry will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 63-58 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, GA).
