Ohio High School Basketball - Independence trounces Lake Ridge Academy

The Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH), 77-18 in Friday's non-league test.

The Blue Devils (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Wickliffe was trounced by Harvey (Painesville, OH), 68-57, in a non-league test.

The Royals now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Brooklyn for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Lake Ridge Academy will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 62-29 non-league win over Garrett Morgan (Cleveland, OH). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-4.
