Knox City Greyhounds (Knox City, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lueders-Avoca Raiders (Avoca, TX), 93-4 in a league bout.

With the win, Knox City upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Greyhounds host Rotan (Rotan, TX) to clash with the Yellowhammers in a 1A Region II District 15 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Yellowhammers go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Rotan won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Rule (Rule, TX)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX) in a 1A Region II District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Lueders-Avoca will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 86-18 league win over Paint Creek (Haskell, TX).
