The Woodgrove Wolverines basketball team (Purcellville, VA), was toppled 58-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA)

The Captains now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuscarora for a Dulles battle on Tuesday, January 3. Loudoun County will confront a Huskies team coming off a 74-69 non-league loss to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-2.

The Wolverines (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Colonels come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, James Wood beat Clarke County (Berryville, VA), 65-40, in a non-league battle.
