Washington High School Basketball - Lummi thwarts Orcas Island

December 30, 2022: Bellingham, WA 98226

The Lummi Blackhawks (Bellingham, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), 63-49 in Friday's non-league test.

The Blackhawks (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Shoreline Christian (Seattle, WA). The Chargers go into the 1B Northwest test with a 2-2 record.

The Vikings now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Coupeville for a 1B/2B Northwest test on Friday, January 6. Orcas Island will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 64-42 non-league win over Manson (Manson, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-4.
