Alabama High School Basketball - McIntosh tops Opelika

December 30, 2022: Opelika, AL 36801

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) and the host Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL), saw McIntosh's basketball squad knock off Opelika by a tally of 77-65.

With the victory, McIntosh improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Union Grove (McDonough, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Union Grove won 57-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson (Jackson, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) in a 7A Area 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Opelika will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.
