The Montpelier Solons basketball team (Montpelier, VT), was nudged 56-53 in Friday's league battle with the host Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT)

The Crimson Tide now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montpelier for a Capital battle on Friday, January 20.

The Solons (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against U-32 (Montpelier, VT). The Raiders come into the Capital battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, U-32 was nudged by Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT), 54-52, in a league battle.
