The Norwell Clippers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Sandwich Blue Knights to 40 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Clippers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hull for a South Shore contest on Tuesday, January 3. Norwell will meet a Pirates team coming off a 57-22 non-league win over South Shore Vo-Tech (Hanover, MA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.

The Blue Knights (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monomoy (Harwich, MA). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Monomoy was routed by Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA), 57-23, in a non-league contest.
