In Friday's league outing, the Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), by a margin of 47-45.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ). The Bears go into the Big North - National outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Bergenfield was tipped by Clifton (Clifton, NJ), 67-45, in a non-league outing.
The Maroons now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Northern Highlands for a Big North - Freedom outing on Tuesday, January 10.
