Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA), 62-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valhalla upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Norsemen travel to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Monarchs in a Grossmont - Hills bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Eagles play the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Southwest EC will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 66-51 non-league loss to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA).
