The West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) basketball felled the host Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA), 49-30 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Northern York (Dillsburg, PA). The Polar Bears go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Northern York went down by Red Lion (Red Lion, PA), 50-32, in a non-league test.
The Blackhawks now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Juniata for a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, January 3. Susquenita will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 34-33 non-league loss to Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Indians record now stands at 4-4.
