With the victory, New Iberia improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Lutcher (Lutcher, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Lutcher won 50-28 in their recent non-league challenge against West St. John (Edgard, LA)

Next up, the Rams play the Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 2. Acadiana will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Assumption (Napoleonville, LA).
