In Friday's non-league outing, the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC), by a margin of 70-42.
The Cavaliers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Eagles go into the IAAM A outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, McDonogh smashed St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY), 55-38, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Bard for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 5.
