In Friday's non-league outing, the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions (Nashville, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Siegel Stars (Murfreesboro, TN), by a margin of 47-41.
The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Fightin' Irish enter the Division II-AA Middle match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Father Ryan nudged Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY), 44-40, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Siegel moves to 7-7 on the year. The Stars host Smyrna (Smyrna, TN) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, January 6. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-4.
