Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME), 41-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cony upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Camden Hills (Rockport, ME) to play the Windjammers in a A North bout on Thursday, January 5. The Windjammers come into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Erskine Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
