Mississippi High School Basketball - East Webster trounces Myrtle

The East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 60-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Bruce (Bruce, MS). The Trojans go into the 2A Region 4 test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Bruce was trounced by Okolona (Okolona, MS), 63-53, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Palmer for a 2A Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 3. Myrtle will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 36-25 non-league loss to Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS). The Dragons record now stands at 1-5.
