The Forest Hills Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Monroe Redhawks to 41 in the Yellow Jackets non-league victory on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Academy for a 2A/3A Conference 44 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Forest Hills will battle a Cougars team coming off a 46-28 non-league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-8.

The Redhawks (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats come into the 2A/3A Conference 44 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Anson dropped by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 45-30, in a non-league contest.
