The Vardaman Rams routed the visiting Houlka Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 45-22 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Coffeeville Pirates (Coffeeville, MS) in a 1A Region 4 game, on Thursday, January 5. Vardaman will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 9-2 record after their 47-26 non-league win over West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS).
