California High School Basketball - Riverbank can't hold off Hughson

The Hughson Huskies basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Riverbank Bruins to 47 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livingston for a Trans Valley League contest on Tuesday, January 3. Hughson will battle a Wolves team coming off a 44-35 non-league loss to Sierra (Manteca, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 3-10.

The Bruins (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Cougars enter the Trans Valley League contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Escalon was nudged by Amador (Sutter Creek, CA), 44-34, in a non-league contest.
