In Friday's non-league outing, the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes (Mount Vernon, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), by a margin of 63-26.

The Hurricanes (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Wolverines go into the 1B/2B Northwest outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Friday Harbor smashed Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA), 37-33, in a league outing.
