Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) and the host Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), saw Normal Community's basketball squad knock off Washington by a tally of 47-32.

With the victory, Normal Community improves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Moline (Moline, IL) to play the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Moline lost 56-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Friday, January 6. Washington will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Little Giants come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 44-39 non-league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, IL).
