The Pantego Christian Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and held the host San Antonio Christian Lions to 38 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Prep for a TAPPS 4A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Pantego Christian will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-28 non-league win over Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX). The Lions record now stands at 15-4.

The Lions (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the TAPPS 5A District 4 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, St. Anthony ran past Crystal City (Crystal City, TX), 43-41, in a non-league contest.
