With the victory, Vista Grande improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Spartans host Browne (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Browne lost 68-14 in their recent non-league challenge against West Point (Avondale, AZ)

Next up, the Buffaloes confront the Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Tempe will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
