The Hartland Eagles edged the host Milford Mavericks ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Friday's league bout.
With the victory, Hartland betters its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Howell (Howell, MI) to confront the Highlanders in a Kensington Lakes - West bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Howell won 6-0 in their recent league bout against Pinckney (Pinckney, MI)
The Mavericks now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gabriel Richard for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. Milford will confront a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 4-7.
